Artwork – Jamaican Jazz Orchestra ‘Black Rain’

“Black Rain,” the third single from the EP, is now available. This track draws inspiration from the chord progressions of a Michael Kiwanuka song, giving rise to a melodic, reggae-infused bassline. The melody is carried by the organ, with vibrant guitar and horn responses woven throughout. The song features two solos: first, the guitar takes the spotlight, with influences from Django Reinhardt and Ernest Ranglin subtly shining through. Then, the organ delivers a smooth, funky, and jazzy solo before the track returns to the main theme.
